The schools, as members of the Trust, are working closely with the partners to the Trust on a wide variety of projects. The partners to the Trust are:
With members and partners collaborating on a range of activities, the Trust will be working towards its aims
a. to create school partnerships that will raise attainment in the local community and in doing so increase the life chances of all young people in the areas served by our schools
b. to build upon and extend the good practice that already exists amongst schools in our pyramid, as well as the Sure Start Childrens Centre (The BEAK) which is located at Kirk Sandall Infant School
c. to provide a first class education for all young people in our local community
d. to address barriers that hinder people learning
e. to strengthen learning, particularly in science, mathematics and ICT.
By working towards these aims the Trust will be contributing to making this country the best place in the world for children and young people in the local community to grow up. This will be done by putting the needs of children, families and young people at the centre of everything the Trust does and providing excellent education and support for every child in the local community.
In the meantime, should you have any queries about the work of the Trust, please do not hesitate to write to the Chair of Governors at the appropriate school or email trustboard@brighterfuturestrust.com
